The years immediately after WW2 saw the rise of the leather motorcycle jacket and its change from merely a functional piece of riding gear into an iconic symbol of rebellion and counterculture. There’s a certain romance evoked from these jackets for riders/non-riders alike, and it’s a magic that modern jackets simply can’t replicate.
We offer a range of these classic 1950s vintage-style motorcycle jackets at Aero – both faithful original recreations like our revered Indian Ranger replica, and our very own stunning designs which cherry pick the best elements of the era.
The ‘Vincent’ is one such design. We wanted to offer our customers the classic 1950s motorcycle jacket look with as much flexibility to incorporate their own style choices as possible. The Vincent 50s style leather jacket is based on the slim fit pattern block that we’ve used for the last few years now but hasn’t been officially offered as an option for customers to buy. We’re really happy to finally offer this to everyone and not keep it as a secret any more!
The standard design features a slimmed down profile as opposed to the usual roomier cut of 1950s motorcycle jackets. The base design is sleek and understated, with a typical zipped sleeve, lapels and a d-pocket set up and a simple kidney panel on the back.
Optional extras that can be added include epaulettes, shoulder gussets, full action back and a detachable or fixed belt. For further design enquiries please contact us.
