One of Aero’s most long lived designs. This multi purpose jacket borrows various features typical of the late 1940s and blend the best of these into this unique one-off design whilst giving the appearance of an original period example.
This jacket is similar to our popular Bootlegger jacket but with a central zipper. It has a typical 3 pocket front with an angled zippered breast pocket and two slash hand warmer pockets. It has a bi-swing back for greater freedom of movement when driving or riding. The cuffs can be tightened by adjusting straps. Although based on our 1950s Pattern Block, it fits a little bit tighter around the hem than our Highwayman and Half Belt styles, perhaps closer in fit and cut to a Motorcycle jacket.
It is a very versatile style which has proved popular amongst owners of vintage cars and motorcycles and with general wearers. We think that the jacket looks at its best in brown front quarter horsehide but it is also available as an option in black.
