• Iconic style
• Quilted Lining
• Made from Donegal Tweed
The Newsboy Cap or Baker’s Boy cap is one of the most iconic items of clothing from the early to mid- 20th Century, ideal to wear with a leather jacket or a tweed suit and equally suitable for everyone from an artisan to a Lord, worn by The Great Gatsby, The Peaky Blinders and the Jarrow marchers alike.
These eight panel tweed caps, while similar in style to the ubiquitous flat cap, are cut with a much fuller and more rounded shape and have a stiff curved peak with a stitch under the overhang to pull the body of the cap tight to the brim. Our cap is fitted with a quilted lining to keep the wearer’s head warm, dry and protected from the elements and is crafted in a Donegal Tweed, new to our collection
